Access to Matilija Canyon is officially cut off. The trail crosses private property. The land owner no longer welcomes hikers on his property. What a shame. The last time I was there I discovered that he had a couple of really cool dogs.
I guess I should feel fortunate that I made it back in that canyon twice. As it stands now, it doesn't appear that I'll make it back a third time.
