I just don't get on here as often as I should :-(
When I read the first post on this, a few down from here, I thought that a hike to Angel Vista would be great. But June 26th will not work for us. Liann, our youngest, is getting married that day, in Eureka (well, Trinidad, a little north of there) and we'll be gone from about the 20th of June until July 6th. If this gets pushed back to July 10th or 17th, we'll be there and we'll help with setting things up.
FWIW, if it can be arranged, having a nice get-together somewhere down below, with a hike to the Vista afterward, to coincide with sunset, would allow those who just can't make that hike a chance to meet folks and talk, have a bite to eat, all that stuff. Just a thought.
I'll keep a closer eye on this board over the next couple of weeks. |
